Partner Vineyards
Vincent Wine Company currently works with eight Oregon vineyards to produce our Vincent wines. We also work with one Napa Valley vineyard to produce our Fritzsche Cabernet Sauvignon.
Armstrong Vineyard
Armstrong vineyard is on Lewis Rogers Lane in the Ribbon Ridge AVA of the Willamette Valley. It is owned by Doug and Michele Ackerman. We work with four parts of the vineyard, each planted to Pinot Noir 114, 115, 667 and Pommard clones. The soils in Ribbon Ridge are marine sediment, old seafloor that’s sandy and drains exceptionally well, giving generally a lovely chalky, even worsted wool texture to the red wines. Grapes from this site go into our Armstrong Pinot Noir, our Ribbon Ridge Pinot Noir cuvee, and a bit in our Pinot Noir Willamette Valley bottling.
Cortell-Rose Vineyard
Cortell-Rose vineyard is located in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA. We’ve begun working with this exceptional vineyard, farmed by viticulturist Jessica Cortell, in the 2023. We work with both the Pommard and Willakenzie clones of Pinot Noir in the red, volcanic soils of this site, which is located across from the Brooks estate vineyard on Eola Hills Road. Wine from this vineyard will go into our Cortell-Rose vineyard designate, as well as our Pinot Noir Eola-Amity Hills and Pinot Noir Willamette Valley cuvees.
Dion Vineyard
Dion vineyard is in the Laurelwood District AVA of the Chehalem Mountains, with silty loess soils. It’s owned by Kevin Johnson and Beth Klingner. We work with own-rooted vines planted in 1988 to the old 108 clone of Chardonnay for our Chardonnay Tardive bottling, as well as Pinot Gris planted in the same time period for our red Pinot Gris bottling.
Ony Vineyard
Ony vineyard is an otherwise unnamed site in the Chehalem Mountains from the 1980s that is leased farmed by Ony Mora and his brothers, as the Vineyard Brothers company. Soils here are primarily loess, like at Dion. We work with Gamay fruit here, field grafted in the past decade onto old Riesling vines from the 1980s. Fruit from this site goes into our Gamay
bottling.
Royer Vineyard
Royer vineyard is high in the western Eola Hills, with rocky red volcanic soils and cold winds from the Van Duzer Corridor across the valley. It’s owned by Mark Royer. We are working here with Chardonnay from a mix of Dijon clones starting in vintage 2019 to make our Royer vineyard designate.
Temperance Hill Vineyard
Temperance Hill vineyard is high in the Eola Hills and home to the oldest vines we work with. Through vintage 2022, we worked with the Flats Annex, planted on its own roots in 1983 to the Wadenswil clone of Pinot Noir. It’s farmed by Dai Crisp and a crew shared with nearby Bethel Heights vineyard. Soils are volcanic. Beginning in 2023, we’ve moved to a full acre of Pommard clone vines, own-rooted plantings from 1984, in the West Block. This fruit mostly goes into our Temperance Hill vineyard designate with some being declassified into our Eola-Amity Hills cuvee. We’ve also begun in 2023 to work with younger vine Chardonnay from Temperance to produce a vineyard designate Chardonnay to complement our Temperance Pinot Noir.
Upper Five Vineyard
Upper Five vineyard is the first site we’ve worked with outside the Willamette Valley. It’s located in Talent, OR, in the warm Rogue Valley of southern Oregon. Vines planted here in 2000 are lovingly farmed by Terry Sullivan and Molly Morison. Grapes here go into our new Tempranillo bottling starting with the 2022 vintage.
Zenith Vineyard
Zenith vineyard is located on Zena Road in the heart of the Eola-Amity Hills. It’s owned by Tim & Kari Ramey. We lease a 1.4 acre parcel of Pinot Noir here, planted in 2006, for our Zenith vineyard designate. Wine from here also goes into our Eola-Amity Hills and Willamette Valley cuvees. We also lease a .65 acre plot of Pinot Blanc from the 1990s that makes our Pinot Blanc and occasional Pinot Blanc Tardive bottlings. We’ve also worked with Pinot Gris and Gamay vines here to supplement our bottlings of those two grapes.
Bengier Vineyard
Bengier vineyard is the source of our Fritzsche Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon wines. The vineyard is located on Dry Creek Road in Napa’s Oak Knoll AVA, right at the base of Mt. Veeder on the Napa Valley floor. Vines were planted in the 1990s here by George Vare, with the Bengier family purchasing the vineyard several years ago after Vare’s death. Farmed by Matthiasson, we’ve worked with this site since 2022.
