We’ve long been fans of Jim Duane’s podcast Inside Winemaking.
The latest episode – #174 – dropped today and it features little old us in Oregon – Vincent Wine Company. We discuss winemaking in Oregon as well as preview a bit about our new Fritzsche project making our own Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
Jim’s the head winemaker at Seavey in Napa, and started the podcast years ago for his own professional development, to build more connections with other winemakers and industry people, for his own learning and growth. I think that’s so smart, and yet listeners have enjoyed his journey and benefitted so much.
I somehow found Inside Winemaking early on and loved his DIY approach to podcasting. There are lots of great conversations in the podcast archive, with new episodes coming out every two weeks.
How delightful to be invited recently to be a guest on the pod! Episode 174 is out, give a listen and check out Jim’s winemaking video course as well as his in-person winemaking classes in Napa.
The guy has so much to offer, and he creates opportunities for all of us to learn from him and each other. That’s leadership. Great work Jim, thanks for the honor of being part of what you do.
